The first floor gourmet kitchen includes a Jenn Air six burner gas oven and cooktop, all stainless appliances, and a gourmet selection of kitchenware. Seating is ample around the granite island, and the adjacent teak dining room table seats twelve.
The breathtaking master suite on the first floor includes a California king bed, HDTV with cable, and gorgeous master bath with soaking tub and separate travertine shower. A large walk in closet completes the suite. Step outside through suite’s french doors and a bubbling Hot Springs outdoor hot tub awaits, with 180 degree beach views.
Also on this level, you’ll find a second guest bedroom with a queen bed with French linens and an ensuite bath. The fully stocked game room with Connolly slate pool table, commercial quality foosball, and air hockey, along with a leather coach, bar stools, and beverage fridge will provide hours of entertainment. The entire main floor is fully accessible with a level entry at the front of the house, no stairs anywhere throughout the first floor, and a level passage out to the beach patio and lawn.
Stepping through the dining room’s french doors, a large covered patio is south-facing and perfect for year-round gatherings. Celebrate around the large outdoor teak table and barbeque al fresco as you take in the spectacular 180 degree views of the shipping lanes, Mt Rainier and the Olympic Mt range, and sunsets. A large stainless barbeque is plumbed to the house propane and ready to sizzle. The Olympic Hot Springs 6 person jetted spa is steps away.
Top quality mattresses and linens are provided. All mattresses are brand new top of the line Beautyrest mattresses. Linens are 300 thread count or above. One California King, one Standard King, 3 Queens, 1 Full, and two Twins, and one Queen sleeper with plush memory foam mattress in media room, which transforms into a sixth bedroom with full privacy if needed. A maximum of twelve people are allowed including children- no extra people or day visitors greater than 12.
Follow the hammered cherry stairs from the rotunda to the second floor living area where you will find three additional gorgeous water view bedrooms, plus a media room that can function as a 6th bedroom, with a comfortable queen sleeper. Amazing Sandy Beach Location- Mt Rainier Views and Sunsets over the Olympic Mountains
Sandy beach location, all day sun. This is a fantastic beach for walking, clamming, crabbing and Frisbee. When the tide is out, it is out several hundred yards. The beach is almost entirely sandy (not at all muddy or silty), with a few places of smaller rocks for some interesting tidal pools – you can go barefoot. In the summer the tidal pools are like bathwater. You can see the sunrise and sunset all year long. The ferries from Edmonds/Kingston are visible, as well as all the shipping traffic from Seattle (cargo, cruise ships, Clipper to Victoria, etc). Seals, sea otters, and eagles are seen on a daily basis. Seals sit on the rocks a few hundred yards out.
Our location on South Whidbey Island is perfect for outings to wineries, quaint towns like Langley and Coupeville, excellent grocery stores, and all the natural beauty Whidbey has to offer. We are just 10 minutes to the Clinton/Mukilteo car and passenger ferry. The ferry ride takes 15 minutes to Mukilteo (every half hour) and from there it is less than an hour to downtown Seattle or the airport.
